Clara's Baptism

Clara was baptized on her eighth birthday in May. We had some great friends come into town and almost all of my family was there. We missed Angela and Paul. We had a wonderfully fun day and weekend.

Awesome decorations, right? Not mine. There was a talent auction going on at the church later that day. But it looked festive!

I love Savannah in this picture, with her arm slung around her uncle's shoulders.

All the cousins!

I love this picture of Caroline and Tate. He looks like he's imparting some important elderly cousin advice.

After lunch we all played an hours-long game of stick ball in the backyard with a partly deflated ball from Wal-Mart. But it was so fun! It was a perfect weekend.

Caroline's birthday

Caroline turned two in April, and we had a little family party for her. She loved her tunnel and her little pirate sword.

Savannah's drawing for Caroline.

April

In April Jason's sister Jennifer visited from Washington. It was her birthday while she was here, and her parents sent an Edible Arrangement...which we all enjoyed.

Savannah had the idea to have a hat decorating contest.

With her curls, Caroline has awesome bed head.

And sleeps with lots of toys and books.

One evening I asked Savannah to get her pajamas on, and she came out wearing Clara's pajamas and laughing hysterically. Soon everyone was laughing.

I love this picture: Caroline copying Savannah, and Savannah looking up at Clara. So cute. By the way Caroline has on Savannah's pajamas and Savannah has on another pair of Clara's.

Clara didn't realize until after the pictures were all taken that her shirt was on backwards.

"Yee haw! Yee haw!"

Our first lefty!

Grandpa's Plane

My parents fly up here in my dad's plane every month or so, which only takes them around 3 hours. Every time we drive by the airport, Caroline says, "Papa" and then makes an airplane noise. So finally we went to see and get inside his plane. They thought it was pretty cool.

On your mark, get set, go!

2015...finally

It's been a while, but here are some pictures of early 2015. We had lots of snow, which the big girls loved playing in. I'm not sure what this pose is, though...

Caroline reading her scriptures.

She loves wearing around her Tigger costume.

For Jason's birthday the girls made a "pin the birthday hat on the Daddy" game. It was pretty funny.

Jason went to a conference in Orlando and brought back these huge Minnie ears for Savannah. We all thought they were pretty hilarious.

When we hear Jason open the garage after work, the girls all start squealing and running to hide, so they can surprise him. Caroline hides under the bench and Savannah around the corner from the stairs. They get pretty frantic to get to their hiding places.

I asked Clara to put away some toilet paper in my bathroom one day, and when I came back there later I found a lovely toilet paper pyramid.
